{"id":23,"date":"2013-02-11T18:06:59","date_gmt":"2013-02-11T18:06:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jenfrederick.wordpress.com\/?p=23"},"modified":"2013-02-11T18:06:59","modified_gmt":"2013-02-11T18:06:59","slug":"never-make-plans-or-deadlines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jenfrederick.com\/test\/never-make-plans-or-deadlines\/","title":{"rendered":"Never make plans or deadlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think my new year&#8217;s resolution, one month late, is to not make deadlines or plans.\u00a0 I had hoped to push out Noah and Grace&#8217;s story, Undeclared, by the beginning of January but when I read the finished rough draft it was pretty terrible.\u00a0 So I&#8217;ve gone in and torn it apart and am re-writing it.<\/p>\n<p>I think this is karmic payback. I remember an author friend giving me something to read for her and I told her that she should write without fear.\u00a0 Obviously that is easier said than done. Self doubt is a crushing emotion and sometimes each typed word is chased with the thought that it&#8217;s not good.
